For Mission Florimont, his adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days, and The lady in white, all written with Sacha Danino.

Sébastien Azzopardi is a comedian, author, adapter and director. He directed Mission Florimont which he wrote with Sacha Danino and which was nominated for Molières for the best comic play 2010. A comedy chevaleresque along the lines of Around the World in 80 Days.

He directed Les caprices de Marianne de Musset, he adaptapted and played Second Hand Memory(Puzzle) by Woody Allen. He directed and played Lady Windermere’s Fan by Oscar Wilde. The show received 5 nominations for Molières in 2007, among them Best Spectacle of Public Theatre.

With Sacha Danino, he is the author and director of a comedy Around the World in 80 Days adapted from the famous novel by Jules Verne which has known success in Paris since its creation. Prix Charles Oulmont 2006 (Compagnie Sébastien Azzopardi), nomination for Prix Raimu de la Comédie 2006 (Mise en Scène), Prix du Public 2007 au Festival d’Anjou.

He is the author of the adaptation Devinez qui ? after Ten Little Indians by Agatha Christie, he was nominated for Molières in 2004 for Best Adaptation.

His play The Classics Counterattack is an adaptation of Fables by La Fontaine, of Gargantua by Rabelais et of Candide by Voltaire. He wrote, directed and played.

Sébastien Azzopardi et Sacha Danino have known each other since primary school. Since, they have been inseparable and share everything, including a 17 year old Swedish au pair. Soon after the baccalaureate Sebastien made the choice to go into theatre. So every evening he sold chocolate ice cream during intermission; but to make ends meet, he was compelled to become actor, director and author. Sacha also turned bad, he should have steered towards journalism, even though his father suspected he worked in a jewelery store. One day, compelled by a troubling desire to combine their talents, they decided to adapt for theatre the famous novel of Jules Verne Around the world in 80 days. Its remained 10 seasons on stage. Thanks to the perception of exorbitant rights of artist, the accorded themselves a month sabbatical of hard labor. Objective: to commit a repeat offence with Mission Florimont which is the second beautiful success of the duo. The play was nominated for the Molières 2010 in the catagory Best Comic Play. Their adaptation of Shear Madness has been on stage for several years and was awarded Molière 2014 for Best Comedy.
In September 2015, The lady in white premiered in Paris.
