Gérard Savoisien

Gérard Savoisien is a French playwright.

He directed the Théâtre Firmin Gémier in Antony from 1984 to 1991, then the Théâtre du Coteau in Le Plessis-Robinson from 2008 to 2016.

His play Prosper et George was awarded the Grand Prix du Théâtre in 2009, directed by Thierry Lavat, with Miren Pradier and Christophe de Mareuil. The play ran until 2014.

In July 2018, his play Mademoiselle Molière, directed by Arnaud Denis with Anne Bouvier and Christophe de Mareuil, premiered at the Buffon Theatre. It has then been performed at Le Lucernaire, and at the Théâtre Rive Gauche. In 2019, it was nominated for the Molière du Théâtre Privé and earned Anne Bouvier the title of Comédienne in a private theatre show.

The same year, Arnaud Denis directed Marie des poules with Béatrice Agenin. The play received two Molières in 2020: the Molière for Private Theater and Béatrice Agenin the Molière for the actress of Private Theater.
